The Space

A warehouse for sound and community.

Named after the West African griot — the storyteller, historian, keeper of culture — Grio is a warehouse venue in Vancouver built on one principle: the music does the talking.

No velvet rope. No table service. Concrete floors, heavy sound, warm amber light, and a room full of people who came to move. Every night here is its own chapter — curated lineups, intentional sound journeys, an atmosphere that can't be manufactured.

Open to all sounds. All people. All communities. Everything rooted in intention.
